About Melanie Francis
Melanie has been in HR for a LONG time, working across Higher Education, Edtech, Publishing, Telecoms, and non-profits, and she is very proud of her HR career. She's led restructures, TUPE transfers, wellbeing strategies, complex employee relations cases, leadership programmes… you name it, she's probably done it.
A few years ago, life added another layer to her work. She became a mum to a brilliant neurodivergent son and saw first-hand how even “fair” workplace processes can leave people behind.
Now, she combines her HR experience with a passion for neurodiversity, helping organisations create cultures and processes where everyone can thrive as a key part of her role as Director of Neurodiversity at Work at Do-IT Solutions - an amazing organisation led by Prof. Amanda Kirby MBBS MRCGP PhD FCGII, providing neurodiversity tools, training and consultancy.
And this year, she was recognised as one of HR's Most Influential Practitioners by HR magazine.
